Recycling

We are all striving to create a cleaner tomorrow. There are many businesses who support our recycling program in the Strait area.

How does it work? Our Helping Hands program is centred around members going out to local businesses in the area and collecting recyclables. The recyclables are then brought back to the ROC where members unload, sort and then transport them to the Enviro Depot.

Our recycling program is very successful. Members of the Helping Hands program enjoy taking ownership in this program and are proud to be contributing to a cleaner environment, as well as helping local businesses to do the same.

Currently we have 10 businesses in the area that donate their recyclables to our program.
